Privacy matters to us here at Hambly Freeman. This page explains our approach to privacy on our site and how it affects you.
- We collect only anonymous statistics about your visit, like which of our pages you viewed
- Third party sites like Facebook and Twitter may know you visited this website, if you use their services. We have no access or control over that information
- We never share your data with 3rd parties except to help us deliver our own services.
These are just the key points. If you need detail, keep reading.
What personal information do we collect?
We don’t, simple as that. The safest way to deal with personal data is not to collect it in the first place and so our site doesn’t use any email forms, signups, comments or under-the-radar cookies or tracking.
We measure visitors to our website using Google Analytics, which places cookies in your browser history. This records what pages you view within our site, how you arrived at our site and some basic information about your computer. All of that information is anonymous – so we don’t know who you are; just that somebody visited our site.
The information we collect from analytics helps us understand what parts of our sites are doing well, how people arrive at our site and so on. Like most websites, we use this information to make our website better.
Our site is hosted on some of the most secure and dependable servers we can find and afford. We use Siteground as our web host, which has a number of security features to help prevent intrusion.
On our site itself we use the most up-to-date security hardening software and all web traffic is encrypted using a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate – that’s the bit which adds a padlock into the browser’s address bar. So, even though we don’t collect your personal information, if we did do so it would be secure and encrypted.
