Elevating Luxury Linen Design with a Fresh Look and Enhanced Platform

Heirloom Linens, renowned designers and craftsmen of luxury linens holding a Royal Warrant, cater to a clientele ranging from stately homes to luxury super yachts.

Heirloom’s linens have graced the screens of major productions such as Quantum of Solace and The Golden Compass.

Having maintained a longstanding relationship with Heirlooms, we proposed the idea of a comprehensive modernization of their website, both aesthetically and technically. Our goal was to accurately reflect the exceptional quality of their services and products.

To achieve this, we embarked on a thorough User Experience design process, ensuring that the new site’s design not only met customer requirements but also elevated the visual appeal to new heights.

Revamped Look, Redefined Platform

The original site, constructed years ago using WordPress and WooCommerce, underwent a significant transformation. For the revamped site, we recommended transitioning their ecommerce activity to Shopify while adopting a headless architecture with Next.js and DatoCMS.

A crucial requirement for the new site was the ability to cater to different markets. Leveraging the powerful DatoCMS platform, we seamlessly integrated localised content for USA, UK, and Australian customers.

Combined with Shopify’s inherent support for multiple currencies, Heirlooms now boasts a fully localised ecommerce platform.

Navigating their intricate product line, which offers numerous options across various product types, presented a unique challenge. To ensure a user-friendly browsing experience, we organised the diverse product lines into multiple Shopify collections, complete with custom filters for refined searches.

Implementing a customised shopping cart alongside Shopify’s industry-leading checkout system yielded immediate results, with the first month of sales witnessing a remarkable 500% increase from the previous site’s average.
